I'm not sure if this is allowed to ask in this forum or if it's considered a spoiler...but here goes:

1. Somewhere I heard that a Archery 120 PS could be obtained from a quest in the starter area. I assume this means Haven but I can't seem to find the quest...

2. I haven't played UO for a long time, is there a good place to hunt where there are chances that GOOD items drop. And with GOOD i mean artifact quality. I also mean a place where I could survive:)

3. Last night I did the quest for the worried smith Feron...and to my surprise I got a runic fletcher tool. Is there a similar quest to get a runic tailor or smith tool?

Bowran, look to the training area for the Archery PS quest, but beware, the quest objective is in a tough area.

For arties, try the desert in Tokuno.

Doing BODs (Bulk Order Deeds) can get you the runic tailor and smith tools you seek. There are posts on these forums which describe what rewards to expect from what BODs.

Ah, then I know what quest you mean. I took a rune to the fire dungeon and hoped to jump in next to the quest objective. All I saw was mobs that scared me:)

When you go through the dungeon go stealth you should be ok.

Also, I wanted to let you know that the same Quest NPC Feron gives all types of runic tools not just one type. It is a random chance to get one of any of the types that are out there.

Thanks for the offer Avanthar. But with the help of Vapress it didnt even get scary:) I got the scroll. Now I only need to fins PS for mining, blacksmith, animal training, animal lore, magery, tactics, anatomy...and many many more:)
