Hi Falkor !, Hi folks !

I've just downloaded & installed the new client...
Nice job, Falkor, even if I haven't seen much of it yet.
Just saw horses & dragons, and they're really great !

I met one bug though, which is that lokais don't appear as soon as I mount them.
Took a screenshot of the problem, and here it is :



Same problem with my rainbow steel. (Nightmares & steelsteeds are ok, and visible even when my avatar is riding them).

I thought you'd be interested by players reporting bugs or problems they meet while using the new client.

Thank you for reporting the issue. It came about when I rushed out a fix for another problem.

We'll have to live with invisible mounts for a little while so I can properly fix all the issues for good. I hate to make people keep patching over and over so I'm going to be 100% sure it's fixed before rolling out the next download.

Several of the horses have mounting issues (disappear when mounted). It is being addressed and a new installer being crafted.

I've just met some nice new polar bears, and new ostards as well...
My !..., these ostards look like velociraptors ! They're so much nicer than the old ones !

Ghost, just to let you know...

...that I downloaded & installed the new client yesterday (it was morning in the USA as it was about 2:00 pm in France), and I downloaded the quickfix.zip too.
I copied the file I extracted to my UOML directory, overwriting the old file.
I did this again this morning, and...

...and when I use my ethereal horse, it still disappears and leaves me floating in the air.

Don't know if other players still have this problem...
I'm not that fond of Oasis anyway. ;o)

The "final" fixed client is newer than that - barely 12 hours older than the time I'm making this post.

One more download and your mounts will be fixed for good

If you're ok unzipping files, the quickfix is the only one you need to get this time.

With the "old" (?) client (a.k.a. the one I downloaded yesterday) & the new quickfix.zip, it works perfectly.
Horses & lokais are back !!!

My only issue with the new client is lag time with the curser. For instance when I say a command like "I wish to lock this down" and im hovering over the object the curser does not change to a target unless I scroll off and back onto it.
It seems to lag in general, movement and otherwise. Though it does make me feel like first year of live launch when it moved like that and had the treasure chest login window

Jasper, Go here 2014 Client Jumping mouse/cursor [FIX] and apply this fix. I think it will solve your cursor issues.
