The art of spell crafting can be a rewarding and oddly frustrating endeavor. Think of Spell Crafting is our version of Imbuing (feel free to correct me if i am wrong). There are 50 crafts that can be added to various weapons, armour, and jewelry...these crafts range from stat buffs, resist bonuses, damage effects and defenses plus a variety of miscellaneous others like Night Sight and Luck. Now where can you find such crafts? Each of the Dungeon Bosses (Cove, Fire, Ice, Despise, Deceit, and Hyloth) offer a chance to drop a craft upon defeat. Now these crafts need to be stored in a book...a book only to obtained from defeating the Boss of Hyloth. There is a cost to using these crafts...the book itself must be charged and each attempt uses charges. These charges can be obtained from these same dungeon bosses as well as some rather specific and time sensitive chests of a crusty nature. The more hidden cost is the chance of destroying the item you are attempting to craft upon....it is infrequent but things do go poof...alrighty more like BANG...on occasion.
that is a cursory overview..probably more enlightening then i usually am...i should have been more cryptic but alas...enjoy your good fortune.

One does not have to be a great warrior to achieve success...indeed the Bosses can be difficult but all can be defeated. You might think you need a full set of crusader or taint armour to defeat the very Bosses that drop such wonders but it is not true....generally anyone seeking to obtain such gifts does not have any to start the journey with...the Bosses are always defeated by technique not brute force...You can of course once you obtain all such gifts steam roll several of the Bosses...but each can be defeated with common objects....Cove and Fire can fall to the simplest of bows..takes some time but with a quick finger on the healing and being fleet afoot they fall...Deceit is best melee'd..tricky and technique driven but certainly accomplish-able. Despise and Ice take a bit more deft touch as they are best handled from afar and with limited physical contact. Hyloth presents its own unique challenges...but a stout bow with temperature conscious projectiles or a strong sense of magery and Hyloth will yield its secrets. Precious little in Pines is defeated only by the mightiest of warriors or mages nary everything will fall to those willing to put forth the effort. Yes there will be death...glorious delicious death cries to amuse me..there will be much death but with death comes learning and learning begets success....If ya ain't dyin' ya ain't tryin'

I'm thinking that having a storage device for the crafts wouldn't be half bad. I am only 3/5th the way to filling my book and have numerous duplicates that just take up storage.

Spellcrafting gems sell pretty well. Spacerx always had a good assortment of gems on his vendor. You should be able to get 500k - 1 mil each for them.
