The quest is NOT repeatable. The quest item will yield only gold when turned in. Make sure your first choice of gear is made wisely!

Which kinda sucks as was considering getting the mace to see how it might work on my bio but if it is a one trick pony then that scraps that idea real quick.

At this point I'm not going to complete it till I see one of the maces as there is no opportunity to go back and rectify a bad decision. I know of no one that has gotten the mace yet. (maces being such a popular weapon and all)

The one and done concept keeps the Shard from be flooded with the new weapons which would reduce their value considerably...This keeps a more veteran player from stockpiling and then selling off to those who have not advanced far enough thus robbing them of the experience and the joy of the hunt and kill. Kinda putting the rare back in rare.
