So over the past 3 days I've been taming my pants off. I turned in 12 large bods total. 5 6-animal 20 count larges and 7 5-animal 20 count larges. Still no bio book. Is it really 40% drop rate like i read in the book at the mall?

I don't know if 40% is correct or not, but it is a rarer drop. Keep trying.

4MM gold and 240k tokens down from that BOD binge. I think Ill avoid bios for a long time

I have done the bio book several times... i usually get it on the 2nd or 3rd try. I have know others to take longer and know of a couple that have happened on the first try.

I will tell you i once tried to make a tool box key early on... i had a 40% chance according to the tinker tool. A visable success rate. I failed 13 straight times to make the tool box. I was less than thrilled to find this result. But sometimes thats how the cookie cumbles.

I assure you, you just need to keep at it. It is something you only need to complete once. Also.. make sure they are all max bod... that they require 20 of each animal... Im sure you have checked everything out and done it the correct way... dont lose heart now... there is more heartbreak to come

Thanks for the motivation Merch. Ive been doing 5 entry and 6 entry 20 count bods. I pray that Im not doing it wrong. Hardest part really is grinding gold and tokens for the specific bods. Dogs and birds ftw I guess. I'm just burntout but I'll get back on the horse tomorrow I'm sure.

For anyone who may feel frustrated by some things, good does come to those who persist. Nabbed the book today. Its a long hard road and not for the faint hearted.

Your road has just begun...obtaining the book...although seemingly drudge worthy and expensive...is but a first small step that will lead down a path rife with frustration and death. The sound of broken vials will haunt your sleep for weeks. I suggest reading and re reading the treatise on Bio pet construction to make sure your hunt is focused.
