No Gear can be brought with you. We start naked and unarmed.
Only items in backpack are spellbooks/token ledger / 20 of each reg / 10 bandaids
No Guardian Spells
No summon demon. Raise dead is ok because they are weak and the reg restriction. Seems balanced to me.
Cant buy any gear
CAN buy tools
CAN craft gear
Everything else was fair game.
The Journey~
We started on lizardmen in Despise, they weren't dropping loot and didnt present a challenge.. even for unarmed/naked players. We moved to ettins/earth eles. The ettins were easy, but terrible loot. The earth eles were far too much for us.
We mined some ingots and skinned some more enemies for leathers/ingots. Carly made us each leather sets. I made two double axes.
Now the earth eles were going down quickly, as well as the trolls on level 2. The ogre lords were very tough still and nearly one shotting us. We had to think of a better plan... TO DESTARD!
We suffered minor casualties in Destard, but did down a few dragons using raise dead to help. Ran out of necro regs fairly fast though. I believe Carly upgraded her weapon and we got some jewelry. To Ilshenar!
Honesty moongate, ettin cave. We downed a paragon ettin and crafted lockpicks to pick the chest. Not much in there. Down farther we fought cyclopses and titans. Now we're getting upgrades! Slowly we gained more and more minor upgrades and regs. Until we saw the Balron...
He struck us down with a few mighty blows. We regrouped, luckily neither of us dead at the same time. I scrambled through my spellbook for spells I don't often use. After a nail-biting battle, we felled our opponent and score a few pieces of magic armor and a hit lightning double axe. It was time to visit our old friends the Ogre Lords again.
With a few key heals and mob management, we cleared the whole island without a single death and reaped the rewards of the treasure chests! It took us an hour and a half to go from naked and nothing, to killing balrons and ogre lords! It was an extreme amount of fun.
I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a challenge again. Added pic of us in our really really bad gear standing amidst our enemies corpses!
