It is time that the sun sets on the on that which we call Avanthar. After a 2yr "hiatus" I find myself gainfully employed again. What that means is my 40+ hours a week of shard time is no longer. I shall be reduced to random hours scattered upon the winds.
First, I wish and need to thank Ghost....this little corner of the infinite web has been my "home" for over 4 yrs (and it shall continue to be so). This is the place I would come to ward off the darkness of being unemployed...seemingly unwanted. This is the place I came to fend off the depression of such failure. This is the place that got me through many a dark day. It sounds overly melodramatic but this place..Whispering Pines...has kept my sanity and my general mental well being intact whilst my real life teetered and bobbled. I thank Ghost for His efforts and vision. None of this exists without him sacrificing his FREE time...his personal time. He receives nothing back except for my heartfelt and sincere thanks.
I wish to thank my mentors in the world of Whispering Pines...many names you know...and several you do not (which is a shame) I thank Joy, DeVir & Blink Santi, Vapress, Shadow, Slayer, SpacerX, Hoaramuth, Hrothgar, Storm, and Merchantmace plus countless others for teaching me the philosophy and method to this madness. Many of their lessons and teachings I have tried to pass on to the next generation.
I leave my position of self appointed body guard, first responder, general meddler, and mentor to a next generation of players....This next generation has taken hold of this shard and made it their own. This shard is in good hands...Ash, Gil, Exodus, Mystica, Dispiro Malas, Kaw & Patty Lee and many others...they will lead this shard into a Golden Age...and Age not seen in years.
I shall pop in as time allows but I am now a spectator....if you remember anything about me...remember this....
